Join us for our June Chapter meeting to hear Elizabeth Wente, Employment lawyer for Spencer-Fane give the 2020 Legislative update. Elizabeth will be helping us nagivate thru the CARES and Famlies first act.  Elizabeth will be developing her presentation around any questions that you have regarding these Acts or any other topic you are struggling with right now. Networking will begin virutally at 7:45 am followed by Elizabeth's presentation at 8:00 am.

Dr. Alex Cobb, PhR will be presenting on "A Change Would Do you Good:  CHange Leadership Principles For HR."  HR often occupies a dangerous ground in many organizations: HR sees where positive changes can take place, but often lacks the positional authority to effect the much-needed change(s). How can HR find a way forward through this conundrum? This session will focus on leadership principles and practices for pursuing organizational and departmental change skillfully and diligently from the HR office.

Due to the Covid 19 outbreak the Branson Tri-Lakes HR association has decided to cancel the April Meeting.  We have rescheduled Matt Griswald for our July speaker.  If you have any questions or concerns please send an email to BTLHRA@gmail.com.

Join us on June 12, 2019 for our chapter meeting, when Debora Biggs will present information on Mental Illness and the Workplace.

Debora Biggs is the Executive Director of NAMI Southwest Missouri.  NAMI is the National Alliance on Mental Illness.

Debora will present information and facilitate discussion about how mental illness might be affecting individual employees in our workplace, and why it is important to remove the stigma associated with mental illness.
