BTL-HRA Receives Prestigious SHRM Award for Advancing the HR Profession - and also Receives the SHRM Foundation Chapter Champion Award
May 24, 2018 — The Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) recently awarded Branson Tri-Lakes HR Association its prestigious EXCEL Platinum Award for the Chapter’s accomplishments in 2017. The EXCEL Award can be earned at four levels: bronze, silver, gold and platinum. Each level has a prescribed set of requirements and accomplishments that must be met.
The award aligns individual chapters’ activities with SHRM’s aspirations for the HR profession. The award recognizes accomplishments and strategic activities and initiatives that enhance the human resource profession.
“SHRM exists because of our great chapters like Branson Tri-Lakes HR Association, which work tirelessly to help advance the important mission of the HR profession through initiatives that support our future, build inclusive organizations and focus on workplace readiness,” said Johnny C. Taylor, Jr., SHRM-SCP, president and chief executive officer of SHRM. “Recognizing BTL-HRA as a recipient of this prestigious award is just one way to show that SHRM supports the Chapter, and that we are by your side step by step as we move Together Forward.”
This year BTL-HRA has also received the SHRM Foundation Chapter Champion Award. The Chapter’s support of the SHRM Foundation in 2017 in three distinct areas qualified BTL-HRA to receive this award.
Every gift that the SHRM Foundation receives, will be used to deliver more than 300 scholarships in 2018 and continue the work to engage and integrate military veterans in the workplace. Additionally, chapter contributions supported the launch of Innovation Grants that assist SHRM Chapters working to improve their communities and build inclusive organizations.
Congratulations, Branson Tri-Lakes members on these well-deserved honors! Keep up the great work!!!
