Join us for our August Chapter meeting as John J. Marino, Employment Lawyer at McMahon-Berger presents the  2021 Legislative update.   Presidents, Pandemics and Personnel:  The past eighteen months have been eventful, to put it mildly.  Between Administration changes and a paradigm shifting pandemic, HR professionals have been running ragged trying to stay on top of the constantly evolving workplace legal landscape.  Please join us for a discussion on recent federal and state legislative changes as well as some predictions on what we can expect in the months and years to come.

ohn J. Marino, Jr. represents the interest of management in all facets of Labor & Employment Law.  Mr. Marino received his juris doctorate from Saint Louis University School of Law where he earned a Certificate in Labor and Employment Law.  He received his undergraduate degrees in finance and economics from the University of Missouri – Columbia.

Mr. Marino represents clients throughout the country in all areas of employment law, including employment discrimination claims under Title VII, the Missouri Commission on Human Rights, the American with Disabilities Act, and the Family and Medical Leave Act.  He also represents management before the National Labor Relations Board in charges of unfair labor practices, challenges to elections and post-election conduct. Mr. Marino also serves as lead negotiator for a number of organizations in their collective bargaining obligations.  In addition, he advises clients on employment-related matters such as employment contracts, restrictive covenants and the myriad of issues human resource professionals see on a daily basis.
