    January 2021 Chapter Meeting Coaching Employees

    Join us for our January Monthly Chapter Meeting.  Julie Coxie will presenting on Coaching Employees.   If humans are truly our greatest resource, it is important that we help them stay as fine-tuned as possible.  The importance of good coaching and discipline techniques is discussed in this presentation; along with what to look for in an employee, how to communicate expectations, how to discipline a problem employee and what happens when a problem employee is not dealt with properly.

    Julie Coxie is currently Human Resources Director for Kanakuk Ministries/Kanakuk Kamps.  She has been in the HR field for 14 years and received her Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) Certification in January 2009 and her SHRM-SPC in November 2014.  She has received training in all areas of the HR field including strategic planning, employee relations, and employment law.  She is past President of the Branson/Tri-Lakes HR Association and works closely with HR professionals in the area.  Julie worked as Guest Services Director at the Stonecroft Conference Center for 3 years where she supervised the volunteer program, front office staff, group sales, bookstore, and was involved in programming for the summer family camps, women’s weeks and fall conferences.  Eleven years of management experience in neurosurgery medical practice gave Julie a strong business foundation and many years working with her husband in full-time youth ministry gave her a strong ministry foundation.  Julie enjoys speaking on topics that help HR colleagues and friends in management grow in skills – especially related to employee relationship management.  As an HR professional in a ministry/non-profit, Julie understands the need for excellent employee relations and is passionate about helping HR professionals focus on hiring and developing employees that will move their mission forward.
