Does your organization have openings that you are struggling to fill?  Statistics tell us that for the first time we now have more job openings than we can fill. This is not just a challenge in Stone and Taney counties.  This is a national challenge.  SHRM is focusing on several workforce initiatives this year.

Plan to join us for the 2019 Branson Tri-Lakes HR Association Fall Conference as we focus on the workforce initiatives championed by SHRM National during 2019.  These initiatives include the Veteran's Hiring Initiative, JAG (Jobs for America's Graduates), ADA, and the Multigenerational Workforce.

The conference will be held at Jesus Was Homeless at 310 Gretna Road, Branson, MIssouri.  There will be several speakers addressing issues, challenges, and opportunities when recruiting from The HIdden Workforce.  Speakers include:  Madessa Bolton (Ready2Work); Jennifer Biri (MO Job Center); Sabrina Bonnette (MO Job Center); Jennifer Kincaid (MO Voc Rehab); Yulanda Jones (MO Voc Rehab); Dorothy Horn (MERS Goodwill).

We will also provide a panel discussion including information from an ASPIRE speaker; and we will hear from Kevin Plumlee, an A.P.P.L.I.E. Graduate.  Kevin's employer will also parricipate.  Kevin and his employer, Michael Hymes (Branson Cedars Resort), will discuss the challenges and opportunities of helping talented and focused candidates with a justice involved background "get back to work."

We hope that you will join us as we look at, and participate in, these thought-provoking and relevant discussions.
