When's the last time you said something unkind to yourself? If you're anything like most people, the voice inside your head frequently chimes in to say something like "You're not good enough. You don't have the right experience. Your team sees right through you."

This workshop unpacks the silent crisis of negative self-talk in the workplace, including an examination of how negative self-talk clouds our decision-making, undercuts our morale, and diminishes our productivity. Participants will be equipped with actionable strategies that draw on the power of positive psychology to challenge their own limiting beliefs and create a culture of self-efficacy among their team.

The speaker, Paige Oxendine, is a Consultant with Habitat Communication & Culture, where she helps organizations train managers on essential skills, develop strategic plans, install performance management systems, and conduct customized research. She previously spent 8+ years in economic development and workforce development roles in southwest Missouri, working with the efactory at Missouri State University and Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce. Paige is an active member of the Springfield community and currently serves as Chair of the Board of Directors of the Springfield-Branson National Airport.
