    You know that employee training and development is crucial to business success; but can you prove it? How do you justify the dollars spent to your corporate officers? How do you know the training was successful? This session will focus on a proven method used by HR professionals, training leaders, and organization development directors to prove results and justify dollars spent on training initiatives.

    About Sherry Coker:  Sherry Coker came to Ozarks Technical Community College in 2006 after spending twelve years in the private sector. As director of business development for the Center for Workforce Development, she leads a team of business consultants and staff dedicated to providing high-quality, affordable workforce training and consulting to individuals and businesses within the community.

    Sherry has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication and Master’s in Business Administration graduate degree from Drury University. She is a Microsoft Certified Trainer, holding the expert credential in Microsoft Office 2003 and 2007. She is an alumnus of Missouri State University’s Leadership GOLD Class of 2012. She serves on the National Association of Manufacturing Education Council and the Springfield region’s P-20 Education Council.

    Sherry has also played an instrumental role in the creation of southwest Missouri’s first information technology consortium, the Mid-America Technology Alliance--a not-for-profit organization dedicated to cultivating and promoting the region’s disruptive tech culture and entrepreneurial spirit.

    Sherry has two amazing kids ages 13 and 16. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, running, and card making.
